PropDaddy — Privacy Policy
Effective 4 August 2026
PropDaddy (propdaddy.sg and the PropDaddy mobile app) helps you track Singapore property — your own portfolio and the wider market. This page explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. We keep it in plain English.
Who we are
PropDaddy is operated by Big Papa Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202323507N), a company registered in Singapore. Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), we are the organisation responsible for the personal data you give us through propdaddy.sg and the PropDaddy mobile app. When this page says "we" or "us", that's who it means.
What we collect
- Account details — email address, name, phone number, date of birth, gender and citizenship status, collected when you sign up and complete your profile.
- Financial inputs you choose to provide — e.g. monthly income for the mortgage and affordability calculators. These are optional and only used to run the calculations for you.
- Portfolio data you add — property addresses, purchase details, valuations and ownership shares.
- Technical basics — authentication tokens (to keep you signed in) and standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept for security and troubleshooting.
Market data shown in the app (transactions, launches, rents) comes from public sources — URA, HDB and data.gov.sg — and contains no personal data about you. When you add a property, its address may be sent to OneMap (a Singapore government service) to look up its location.
How we use it
- To run the product: your portfolio, valuations and calculators.
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.
Where it lives
Account and portfolio data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure and processed on our own servers. A small number of established service providers handle specific jobs for us — authentication and database hosting, and delivering the emails and SMS one-time codes we send. They act only as data processors on our instructions, and only receive the data needed for their job.
Some of this hosted infrastructure may sit outside Singapore. Where it does, we use established providers whose terms commit them to safeguarding personal data, in line with the PDPA's rules on transferring data overseas.
Apart from these providers, the sharing you control (below) and the OneMap address lookup described above, your data is shared with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Sharing you control
If you link accounts with a partner or co-owner, the specific fields you approve (e.g. name, phone) are shown to that person. You can unlink at any time from your profile.
Delete your account & data
To permanently delete your account, send a deletion request from your registered email address — deletion removes your login, profile, portfolio and messages, and cannot be undone. If a property is co-owned, the other owner's own record remains, with your details removed.
Send the request to hello@propdaddy.sg and we'll process it within 7 days. Server logs age out automatically within 90 days.
Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account exists — that's what lets the app show your portfolio. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted as described in the deletion section above, and server logs age out on the 90-day cycle noted there.
Consent & your PDPA rights
By signing up and using PropDaddy, you consent to us collecting and using your personal data as described on this page. You stay in control of that consent:
- Withdraw consent. You can withdraw consent at any time — the fullest form is deleting your account (email us a deletion request, as above); for anything narrower, email us too. Fair warning: because we need certain data to run the product, withdrawing consent may mean some features (or the service as a whole) stop working for you.
- Access your data. You can ask us what personal data of yours we hold and how we've used it.
- Correct your data. Most details you can edit yourself in the app under Profile. For anything you can't, ask us and we'll fix it.
To exercise any of these, use the in-app options where they exist or email hello@propdaddy.sg from your registered email address. We aim to respond within 30 days; if a request will take longer, we'll tell you and explain why.
Data Protection Officer
As the PDPA requires, we have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO handles access, correction and deletion requests, consent withdrawal, and any complaint or question about how we handle personal data — reachable at hello@propdaddy.sg. If you've raised something with us and aren't satisfied with our response, you can also approach Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) at pdpc.gov.sg.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the effective date above. Questions: hello@propdaddy.sg.
